Billionaire media company owner and heir to a Coca Cola bottling company, Alkiviades David has been ordered by a Los Angeles jury to pay $58 million in damages for battery, sexual battery and sexual harassment against a former employee.

Of the current jury award, $50 million were punitive damages and 8.25 million were compensatory damages.

According to the Los Angeles Times, this was the third verdict this year against the billionaire for misconduct against his former employees. In April, a former employee was awarded $11.1 million from a jury after alleging that David fired her after she refused to have sex with him. In  November, a jury awarded a woman $5 million after she alleged that David placed his hands on her throat and pushed her into a wall.

In the most recent case the plaintiff alleged that the defendant, David, in 2014, had thrust his pelvis into her face, simulating oral sex. According to Fox News, David denies the claims made and plans to appeal the decision, stating that the judge blocked witnesses who would have exonerated him.

The these trials, the Los Angeles Times reported that David acted belligerently, erupted in profanity, where he mocked accusers and their attorneys, earning him almost $10,000 in sanctions, and getting him ejected from the courtroom multiple times.

Two more lawsuits for sexual misconduct have been filed against David.
